I often hear, "You don't sound like you're from Texas." I love breaking through stereotypes — in coaching, in business, and in life.
This Texas girl has always felt a little different — and I've spent my life learning that different is exactly the point.
I've always looked at the world in a way that seemed to click differently than everyone around me. Sure, I've had friends and social connections — but I never quite felt like I fit the mold. Being an introvert with what feels like an extraordinarily long recharge time definitely didn't help.
When I moved into Jester West at The University of Texas at Austin eons ago, I never imagined the twists and turns my life would take. I never imagined I'd be impacting others the way I do now.
As a lifelong learner, I'm that person with the random, oddly specific fact that somehow ties everything together. It thrills me to no end to hear someone say, "Hmm, I never thought of it that way." It goes to the next level when they act on it and experience success. It goes even higher when I help them discover something magical about themselves they didn't know was there.
I don't speak about principles from a teaching perspective — I speak from lived experience. I believe what I say because I've had to act on it.

Learn more →I believe emotional and spiritual strategy is just as critical as legal and financial strategy when navigating divorce. Most people get told to hire a good attorney and figure the rest out. I don't think that's enough.
I bring my faith, my corporate background, and my lived experience to everything I do — as a Christ follower who is deeply respectful of all belief systems, and as someone who has walked through the fire of divorce and found there was something worth rebuilding on the other side.
Now I help other women design theirs.
